Our story

How STRYV started

Ben has always liked figuring out how things work. In college he took IT gigs on anything with a circuit board: IP cameras, routers, AV work, TVs, and building computers. After earning a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida, he went to work full time for a web design company that specialized in golf courses, and started STRYV in 2015.

Working in downtown Orlando, Ben was surrounded by tech companies, and he liked the idea of a different spelling. Strive became STRYV. Along the way he realized what he enjoyed most was the whole story, from the first conversation to a finished, running site, not just one piece of someone else's puzzle. Helping people with technology, and simplifying the solution instead of adding to it, is where Ben is strongest.

Away from the keyboard, Ben is a father of three and a youth soccer coach. He plays golf and guitar, travels when he can, hunts and fishes, and is an occasional interior designer.

“Ben is incredible. He is conscientious and trustworthy … He never goes radio silent but is always diligent to get back with me when I have questions … I can give Ben and Stryv Creative my highest recommendation!”

How we think

Habits that shape the work

The tool fits the project

Some businesses are best served by a fully static site with nothing to patch. Others need WordPress so their team can make their own edits, or a custom build. We pick the tool for the project, not the other way around.

We explain as we go

We make a point of teaching clients how their site works, so you can handle the parts you want to and know who to call for the rest.

Custom when a template can't

When a business needs something an off-the-shelf theme can't do, we build it: a box builder wired to a live cart, event ticketing with door-staff roles, lead forms that route by service. Then we keep it running.

Who you call

One relationship, not five vendors

Small businesses don't have an IT department. When a domain is about to expire, an email account stops delivering, or a DNS record needs to change, most owners end up juggling a web host, a domain registrar, an email provider, and a developer who each blame someone else. STRYV handles all of it under one relationship: design, development, hosting, domains, email, DNS, and the small IT questions that come up along the way. You are never lost in a client list or handed to a ticket queue: a real person who knows your site answers.
